BREATHWORK

Would you like to learn the simplest method to be more present? How you can bring well-being, self-empowerment and inner strength into your life?
Use the flow of your breath!

There are a huge number of breathing techniques that we can use for our mental and physical health. In traditional pranayama we are talking about breathing techniques that have life-prolonging effects: Prana means "life spirit" in Sanskrit and Yama means "extension". The root of breathing can also be found in Latin: The word "spiritus" does mean spirit or world soul, but is also translated as "breath". With breathing we are connected to both our inner being and all other life forms in this world and at the same time firmly anchored in the here and now.

Breathing techniques are generally exercises that we can use daily to regulate our nervous system, strengthen our immune system, increase athletic performance, help reduce stress or promote our sleep, digestion or libido. We use breathing techniques specifically to strengthen various organs, increase our heart rate variability and concentration, support the body in regeneration and even improve our interaction with other people (polyvagal theory). The only question is what you want to achieve. With a clear intention and a conscious, regular breathing practice, we can not only improve our quality of life but sometimes work wonders.

The other way to use the healing power of the breath is through breath journeys.

Transformative breath journeys

On the one hand, there is the more shamanic practice of breath journeys, with which we breathe intensively for transformation and spiritual healing. In doing so, we deliberately put ourselves into other states of consciousness in order to "clean up" inside ourselves, to get in touch with the body and to get in touch with the task of our soul.

We can work in two different directions with the breath journeys: if we want to deal with mental, spiritual blockages, we choose the transformative breath journeys. We put our brain into the theta wave state through conscious, connected deep breathing. This type of brain wave usually occurs during sleep or meditation and helps us to gain access to our subconscious. Characteristic of this sequence are not only vivid memories and increased creativity, but also the increased ability to learn that results from it, as well as improved imagination and fantasy. A fantastic, effective method for healing emotional wounds and recognizing what is keeping us from being happy.

Somatic release from Trauma

Another way of traveling with the breath is called somatic breath journey. A self-healing method that is particularly effective for health problems of a physical nature. Here we use breathing, movement, sound, touch and meditation to treat unresolved conflicts (trauma) that are stuck in the body, as they are usually the cause of physical complaints.

Somatic breath journeys, as the name suggests, focus purely on body work. But here too, we put the thought apparatus on pause with the help of deep breathing. Without any cognitive input from the brain, we allow the body's intelligence to guide us to the core of the blockages. Physical sensing and perception are completely in the foreground and show us the way to healing.

We cannot access these energy blockages using cognitive methods, as we are usually not aware of them. By detecting these energetic blockages in the body and releasing unhealthy bonds, we can use this method to gently release the after-effects of trauma.

Breathing technique - Pranayama

How many of your 25,000 breaths a day are you actually aware of?

Do you know what effect a single breath has on your body?
If we want to learn the healthy flow of oxygen, we have access to a thousand-year-old knowledge of yogic breath control: pranayama. Much of this has long been confirmed by modern science, but unfortunately in the age of the pharmaceutical industry it has not yet reached the general public.

Inhalation, exhalation and retention have a profound influence on our autonomic nervous system and therefore on everything that happens in our body.
Every breath results in a physiological reaction, from cellular respiration to the pH value of the blood. But the same breath also produces an emotional reaction in the body, which is nothing other than the physical perception of these chemical compounds and hormones.

If we realize that everything we know and experience, we experience emotionally and that our emotions are "only" a physiological reaction to our environment and actions, we can deal with them differently. We can consciously model both our short-term, momentary state and our long-term well-being according to our wishes and needs using breathing work.

Testimonials

My breath journey experience was overwhelming. I felt such an overwhelming joy of liberation that I had to laugh and cry at the same time. The great thing about it is that I can always recall this experience when I'm not feeling well! Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU dear Lilla!

Thank you again for showing me the healing effect of my breathing and the power of my body! I was simply overwhelmed by it!

I actually had the feeling that I was able to expel all negative energy and unprocessed unpleasant experiences from my body to the outside in that moment and then absorb self-love into my heart! At first I let the tears and loud sobs flow out of my deepest hurt and then I cried with joy! I was even able to recognize for myself what or who fulfills me in my life and who only does me superficial good! After the breathing journey, I hugged my children and my dog, overjoyed, and simply thanked them for being in my life! Last week I had a terrible day in which I no longer found any meaning in my life and then yesterday I was able to experience this incredible joy for the very first time since my separation, which was already 5 years ago, which meant that I could no longer feel any joy at all in our life as a threesome! For me it felt like a miracle that you gave me!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!
